Brooke's Place. BlueSky is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the Brooke's Place organization. Brooke’s Place is a nonprofit organization providing support and services to grieving children and families in the belief that hope for tomorrow begins today. Brooke's Place is founded on the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to grieve in a supportive and understanding environment. Since 1999, Brooke’s Place has provided grief peer support groups to over 4,500 young people and their families with hurting hearts.

BlueSky Supports “Drive for Chad” Milwaukee, WI — Chad Murphy-Price is a 26 year old young man who lives with Cerebral Palsy and who embraces a “never give up” attitude. In 2006 Chad graduated from the Milwaukee Area Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Visual Communications to apply to web site design and computer graphics while his dream job is to work for a pro sports team in the web site design group. Chad enjoys an active lifestyle including water skiing in an adaptive sit ski and attending sporting events including seeing his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.

On July 19th, BlueSky was a Corporate Sponsor for the “Drive for Chad” golf outing and fundraising event in Pewaukee, WI. This goal of the event was to raise money to help Chad save for a replacement motorized wheelchair that will provide him a way to lift him to a standing position and become even more active. Chad warmly thanked BlueSky for their support of this event. “Without your help and support this event would not have been possible. I’m very pleased and excited to announce that together we raised over $6,500 for my new standing wheelchair! Thank you again for making ‘Drive for Chad’ a smashing success. Sincerely, Chad”.

BlueSky’s Cindy Thoenes, along with her husband Rick, Tom Cheng and BlueSky’s Jeff Friess witnessed firsthand Chad’s enthusiasm and appreciation during his golf outing and silent auction.
